Fish Report 8/26/25

It’s August! Lots of food in the lakes and a lot of the fish are well fed. Under the right conditions, things can be good but the best fishing is coming up later this fall. We continue to fish many of the lakes in and around the Brainerd area. Some of the walleyes are showing themselves on the humps and deep water points. We’ve been catching them on a variety of baits, but my favorite is rigging with chubs. I haven’t been fishing deeper than 25’, but as the days continue to get shorter the fish will eventually move deeper. Call or text Shelley to book a trip! 218-839-5598

Fall fishing is in full swing! The action on Gull has been great, but catching the big mommas isn't super easy right at this moment. Tomorrow, maybe. We are there, Labor Day weekend already! Wow, did this summer go by fast! I guess, on the bright side, hunting season is upon us, and the best fishing of the year is coming, too.
