Good evening! The water temperature is up into the mid-sixties, and fishing action is picking up. People always ask when the best time to fish is, and I say June and October. So, you know what that means? You should probably get out on the water and fish. I had the Bjellands out this morning on Gull, and we had decent action. We started by pulling Shadow Raps and finished by pulling Raps. But the most effective presentation was a slip bobber and a leech. We cleaned a few, and they were stuffed full of perch and small panfish. If you are interested in booking a trip with me or one of our guides, give us a shout, and we will get you out. 218-839-5598. If you want to head out for a little Gull Lake Tour, we can do that, too. I’m taking out a group tonight to do exactly that, on my 25-foot Premier Sunsation Angler pontoon. That’s about all I have for you for now. Ope, nope, one more thing. GOAL COLE!! Our very own Cole Smith is vying for the Stanley Cup starting tomorrow night! Fun stuff!

“Dan is an incredible guide. He is personable and knows the Brainerd Lakes area like none other. I suggest anybody who wants to get into fishing and doesn’t want to spend all the time and money to try to figure out how to catch ‘em to just hired Dan and his team!”

“Four of us booked a four hour fishing trip with Walleyedan. Our guide was Dustin and he was so friendly and engaging with a wealth of knowledge and tips . We caught the amount of fish we wanted for a fish fry and man were they tasty. Besides Dustin’s skills, his friendly personality made the day. We HIGHLY recommend Walleyedan’s guide service.”

“Wonderful experience!! Our guide Chuck picked us up from our resort and was incredibly sweet. One person in our group had never touched a rod and landed a 42 inch plus musky. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!”
