Fish Report 8/26/25

It’s August! Lots of food in the lakes and a lot of the fish are well fed. Under the right conditions, things can be good but the best fishing is coming up later this fall. We continue to fish many of the lakes in and around the Brainerd area. Some of the walleyes are showing themselves on the humps and deep water points. We’ve been catching them on a variety of baits, but my favorite is rigging with chubs. I haven’t been fishing deeper than 25’, but as the days continue to get shorter the fish will eventually move deeper. Call or text Shelley to book a trip! 218-839-5598

Fish Report 10/5/25

Yesterday was our 13th annual Walleyedan Fishing To End Hunger fishing tournament, and boy was it a great success! Beautiful weather, although it didn't feel too fall-like. We had 115 boats registered and 84 of those registered fish this year compared to 39 last year. This field of anglers are the best of the best on this Gull Lake Chain and it sure did show that.
