I hope you all had a nice weekend! We celebrated the 250th anniversary of our country in Bozeman, MT, by welcoming our 2nd grandchild into this world. Back on the water tomorrow, and it’s going to be a scorcher. We are well into our season, and the guides have been doing a lot of trips! Some walleyes are cooperating, but many of the folks we fish with this time of year are looking for action. And that means whatever we can get to bite. Bass are chomping big time, and we’ve been catching some nice ones. Fishing live bait right now is tricky because of the panfish; you will go through a lot of bait while trying to get at the walleyes. Pike have been going pretty well too. We do have a few holes in the calendar this week, so if you are looking for “action”, give Shelley a call or text, and we will get you in the book!
