Fishing in the Brainerd Lakes Area has been good! Of course it’s not every day that we go out and hammer them, but more often than not the “bite” has been good. Walleyes are all over the board (depth wise) and they are eating pretty well on the days with wind or overcast skies. We’ve been catching some rigging with minnows, but the slip bobber leech/crawler bite remains pretty strong. I’m sure you can catch them with whatever you have in your arsenal! The pike and bass fishing has remained pretty strong too and we are seeing an occasional musky too! Water temps were around 73 degrees this morning. We have had a really nice season thus far and we are hoping that the fishing stays strong right into the fall! We can only hope. Now’s the time to book your fall and winter trips! Call Shelley at 218-839-5598 to get on the calendar! Thanks for checking out the new site!
Blessings from the north,
