Fish Report 8/26/25

It’s August! Lots of food in the lakes and a lot of the fish are well fed. Under the right conditions, things can be good but the best fishing is coming up later this fall. We continue to fish many of the lakes in and around the Brainerd area. Some of the walleyes are showing themselves on the humps and deep water points. We’ve been catching them on a variety of baits, but my favorite is rigging with chubs. I haven’t been fishing deeper than 25’, but as the days continue to get shorter the fish will eventually move deeper. Call or text Shelley to book a trip! 218-839-5598

Fishing Report 8/6/25

Fishing in the Brainerd Lakes Area has been good! Of course it’s not every day that we go out and hammer them, but more often than not the “bite” has been good. Walleyes are all over the board (depth wise) and they are eating pretty well on the days with wind or overcast skies. Fish Report 7/20/25

The fishing around the Brainerd Lakes Area has been good. When the wind blows and it’s overcast, the walleyes seem to be “in the mood”.
