Hello from the BLA! The ice is receding from the shorelines and getting soft. I was out yesterday afternoon in the SnoBear on Gull pout fishing. We had 16” of ice with the top half a bit on the soft side. The burbot spawn is winding down, but we did still see a number of them and landed 1. With the cool nights, I’m thinking the ice will hang on for a bit yet. Crappies, sunnies and perch are still fair game (with a current fishing license) and this time of year they are chowing down!
