Fish Report
There is still a couple feet of ice on most area lakes, but this most recent melt down has made for some pretty slopping shorelines and landings. I was out last night in search of eelpout, and I was able to connect with a couple. One of them was a monster! They are moving up shallow right now to spawn and it’s a great time to target them. A jigging spoon with some minnow heads will normally do the trick. The late-ice panfish bite is going to just keep getting better too. If you are looking to get out for some late ice fishing, give us a call at 218-839-5598. It’s also time to book your open water trips!
